Cadmus House Historical Museum
The Cadmus House Historical Museum, located on Pollitt Drive in Hawthorne New Jersey, is a historic house museum displaying various art pieces. The City of Hawthorne and the Fair Lawn Arts Council own and operate the museum. It features art from the past, present and future and is open to Hawthorne and Bergen County residents. It also hosts artists and crafters during weekends throughout the year.
The museum is excellent for families, history buffs and students of all ages. It exhibits many different art types, including sculpture, pottery, paintings and photography. There is a small gift shop on the property where you can purchase items like T-shirts, books and local history memorabilia.
